Sue Briggs
Sue joined the Wanneroo Amateur Football Club in 2018, when her eldest son began umpiring for the club, and has since become a valued contributor to the WAFC community.
Coming from a football-focused family, Sue has four children involved in the game — umpiring, playing, and coaching — creating a strong connection to football at all levels. She joined the committee in 2022 and has supported the club in a range of roles, including Umpire Coordinator, regularly assisting wherever needed.
Sue brings over 15 years of experience at junior level, including roles as Auskick Coordinator and Team Manager. She is particularly passionate about disability and inclusion in football, along with the continued growth of female participation and actively supports programs that create opportunities for all.
In 2025, Sue stepped into the role of Secretary. She brings strong organisation, communication, and coordination skills, with a clear focus on governance and administration to support the club’s day-to-day operations and long-term sustainability.
