Daniel brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience across WAFL, amateur, country, and state representative football.
A former dual premiership player with Wanneroo, Daniel has strong ties to the club and a deep understanding of its culture and standards. His playing career also includes success with West Perth, Cervantes, and Kalannie, along with multiple WA State representative honours.
As a coach, Daniel has built a strong reputation for performance and leadership. During his time as Player-Coach at Kalannie, he led the club to three consecutive premierships, establishing a consistent and successful program.
Daniel brings a strong focus on culture, connection, and development, with an emphasis on building a high-performing and sustainable football environment.

Reserves Coach – Scott Hamer – Mathew
Scott brings a strong and diverse coaching background to the Wanneroo Amateur Football Club.
He has previously coached at Coolbinia and Kingsway, before progressing into
development and Colts programs at East Perth, building valuable experience across junior and pathway football.
After taking a seven-year hiatus from football to coach netball, Scott returned to the game in 2025, joining WAFC as Reserves Coach.
Scott brings a calm and considered approach to coaching, with a focus on development, structure, and building a strong team environment.
Outside of football, Scott is a keen movie and music enthusiast, and is known for
occasionally delivering a well-timed GIF.

COLTS COACH – JAYDEN CRANE
Jayden has a strong connection to the Wanneroo Amateur Football Club, having played his junior football at Wanneroo from Auskick through to Colts, before progressing into senior football at WAFC, where he continues to play League today.
He has been Head Coach of the Colts for the past three seasons, leading the group to multiple Grand Final appearances and continuing to drive development and performance within the program.
Jayden brings a well-rounded coaching background, including roles as Head Coach of the Subiaco 14s Development program and Assistant Coach with the Subiaco Futures. He has also coached junior girls football at Wanneroo, demonstrating his commitment to developing players across all pathways.
As a coach, Jayden focuses on development, structure, and creating a competitive and supportive environment, with a strong emphasis on helping players progress both on and off the field.
A true product of the Wanneroo pathway, Jayden’s connection to the club continues to shape his approach to coaching and development.

WOMENS COACH – SCOTT OXLADE
Scott is a long-standing and highly respected member of the Wanneroo Amateur Football Club, with a playing career spanning over 300 games.
A key leader during his time on the field, Scott served as Reserves Captain across multiple seasons, playing an important role in driving standards, culture, and consistency within the group. His contribution to the club was recognised with the Club Champion award in 2016 and Life Membership in 2020.
Scott has also made a significant contribution off the field, with over 15 years on the committee, including time as Vice President.
In recent seasons, Scott has transitioned into coaching, leading the 3rds in 2023 and 2024, before stepping into the role of Women’s Head Coach across 2024, 2025, and beyond. As a coach, Scott is known for his calm approach, strong connection with players, and ability to create a positive and inclusive team environment. He places a strong emphasis on effort, teamwork, and enjoyment, while continuing to drive standards and development across the group.

Thirds Coach – Scott Conway
Scott is a long-time member of the Wanneroo Amateur Football Club, with strong involvement and connection to the club over many years.
He played a key role in the development and success of the Women’s program, leading the team to its first premiership in 2022 and helping establish a strong foundation for future growth. His contribution to the program has been significant, both in building standards and creating a positive and competitive team environment.
In 2026, Scott takes on the role of Thirds Coach, continuing his involvement in developing players and contributing to the club’s football program.
Scott is passionate about developing players and fostering a positive team environment, with a strong focus on culture, connection, and growth both on and off the field.
Outside of football, Scott is a family man, enjoying time with his wife, three children, and two granddaughters.

Fourths Coach – Dan Ray
Dan has been part of the Wanneroo Amateur Football Club since 2013, when he joined the club as a Colts player.
A long-time contributor within the 4s, Dan has built a strong connection with the playing group through his commitment and willingness to always step in and help wherever needed. Whether as a player, team manager, or behind the scenes, he has consistently put the team first and played an important role in supporting the group over many years.
After a seven-year hiatus, Dan returned to the club, with his first game back, a heavy loss to Mt Lawley, reigniting his passion for game day operations and team support.
In 2025, Dan took on the role of Player/Manager of the 4s, bringing strong organisation, reliability, and a team-first approach — often doing whatever was required to keep things running smoothly.
In 2026, Dan steps into the role of 4s Coach, continuing his commitment to the group. He brings a strong understanding of the playing group, a calm approach, and a focus on creating a positive, well-run, and enjoyable environment for all players.
Dan’s ongoing contribution, strong relationships within the 4s, and willingness to do whatever is needed make him a highly valued member of WAFC.

Seconds Colts Coach – Tom Ray
Tom has been involved in football at Wanneroo since 2007, beginning his journey in Auskick and progressing through the junior pathway through to the end of Year 12 in 2018.
After a period away from football to focus on his studies, Tom returned to Wanneroo and joined WAFC, reconnecting with the club and its community.
Professionally, Tom is a Health and Physical Education teacher and has coached a range of school teams across varying abilities and backgrounds. His teaching experience brings a strong understanding of development, communication, and creating positive learning environments.
In 2026, Tom stepped into coaching at WAFC as part of his ongoing development as both a coach and educator. He places a strong emphasis on team cohesion, structure, and attention to detail, while creating an environment where players feel supported, engaged, and enjoy being part of the group.

All Abilities Coach – Mark Clayton
Mark brings a wealth of experience and passion for inclusive football to the Wanneroo Amateur Football Club.
His football journey began in South Australia with North Whyalla Magpies in the Whyalla Football League, and he has remained actively involved in the game, most recently through Masters football with Quinns AFC.
Mark has extensive coaching experience across all junior levels at Quinns District Junior Football Club, from Auskick through to Under 18s, including a premiership with the Year 9 Cyclones in 2022.
He has been heavily involved in All Abilities football since 2018 as coach and coordinator of the Starkick program at Quinns JFC, creating inclusive opportunities for players and supporting their development. His coaching highlights include a Starkick Youth Integrated premiership in 2024 and a runner-up finish in 2025.
In 2025, he also contributed as an assistant coach with the Centurion All Abilities Academy and the All Abilities State Team.
Mark brings a strong focus on inclusion, development, and connection, and is committed to creating a positive and supportive environment where all players can thrive.
