PRE SEASON 2010 Pre-Season is now well underway with sessions being held on Mondays and Wednesday's 5.45pm at Edgar Griffiths Park (Garden Park Drive) numbers have been fantastic early on with 80+ players attending the first session. It was great to see all the old faces back however the most encouraging sign was all the new players that turned up. We expect to see many more new players in the coming weeks so get down as early as possible to make sure you get the season off to the best possible start. If you have any questions or would just like to have a chat to the coach to see what we are all about, do not hesitate to contact Brad Trpchev on 0407 440 375. Coaches Brad Trpchev and Adam Salecic have put together a pre-season booklet with all the info required to get you through the first few weeks so make sure you ask for a copy when you get down there. Teams Don't forget to wear your team colours to each training session and make sure you notify your captain if you are unavailble.
PRE-SEASON ATHLETICS CARNIVAL On the 27th January pre-season training was interrupted for one session while the six teams competed in a lively athletics carnival. In an attempt to lighten up what has been an intense start to the pre season the boys took part in a number of events including: 100m sprint, batton relay, leader ball, a pyramid sprint relay and many more. The eventual winners were Craig "Cheese" Phillips' captained Tuggers who have now raced clear atop the pre-season ladder.
